GAS or FLATULENCE: Marked by or affected with gases (or bloating)
generated in the intestine or stomach causing uncomfortable abdominal pain,
distention which may be mild or severe along with what may appear to be chest pains and slight pressure
that could mimic a heart attack, and excessive release of gas. Also called
flatus. Its causes are many including overeating, eating too quickly, excessive
consumption of sugars, sweeteners, alcohol, nutritional deficiency of Vitamin B, food allergies,
parasites, emotional stress, etc. as well as swallowing too much air when eating.
Self Help – diaphragmatic breathing, chewing food slowly, not drinking
with meals, fennel seeds, 1/2 lemon (squeezed) juice or 1 tsp. to 1 tbl. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water
with meals, OR a drop to 1/2 tsp. liq. chlorophyll in a glass of water. Also eat parsley
after meals.
