SLEEPLESSNESS (Insomnia): Is the inability to fall asleep, staying asleep or continually waking up earlier than planned. For most people, tension, anxiety, depression are some causes, however blocked nasal and pharyngeal passages as well as allergies to sugar or MSG can cause this condition.

The use of topical oils (on the head and feet) are appropriate depending on the body type to relax the nervous system. For pitta type- use coconut oil at room temperature, vata type - apply warm sesame oil, and kapha type apply warm mustard oil.
