STRAIN, SPRAIN: A strain is when a muscle is stretched beyond
its capacity, and may knot up due to prolonged use. A sprain is when the
ligament connecting bone to muscle is stretched beyond its capacity and
may tear resulting in the associated joint becoming sore, swollen and
bruised. Both are caused by unexpected movement, twisting or a hard
